Ate and drank here - did not like the food, but there was a pizza restaurant associated with the pub which is probably better.

Strange place, full of coloured chairs and tables. Looks more like a childrens play school than a pub. Not the best place to go, pretty basic as anywhere goes. Does a few beers but no real ales.

Sat outside here. Pretty good, 3 real ales on - had the 6X. Also Bombardier and Deuchars IPA. I know, hardly the most exciting list! Worth a go, but expensive.

Pint of King John beer was not very well kept at all. The pint of T.E.A however was much better. It is a very nice pub but the staff can be a little immature in their attitude at times.

Much improved after recent refurbishment, Shepherd Neame ales were all on and the menu looked appetising. All in all a much cleaner pub now.

I also noticed that it was closed when walking past. Shame if we have lost one of the towns real ale pubs, full of characters this place will be sadly missed.
