Used to be one of the best pubs in Kemp Town, now sadly isn't!

Unfortunantly has now been turned into a bar, decor now bland and old wooden chairs now faux leather tub chairs. Juke box just plays gay club anthems on a loop.

Nice pub but avoid on late Saturday afternoons as it seems to get full of loud Londeners on Stag Nights who form a circle by the bar and seem to be unable to talk without shouting and swearing. You'll also find nowhere to sit or stand.

Always drink in east Kemp Town but this place has never been very welcoming. Very much a locals only place (probably because its off the beaten track. Went in last night and the staff were more interested in serving food to locals. Often have a route of pubs i take visiting friends in but this certinaly won't be one in the future.

The Horse and Groom, St Leonards on Sea
Barred myself from this pub when "rigsby" - (the landlord) accused me of smoking a very suggestive tobacco in my pipe. I think it was an aromatic pipe tobacco I bought in Cambridge. Landlord is quite weel known in the local Freemasons and thinks he can do anything

Good pint of Stella- pleasant barmaids. host seemed rather boring and really needs to work on his jokes. lack of UV in the toilets. Interesting choice of clients-especialy the dark haired man (obviously dyed!)

...last comment I left was a year ago- if you were to walk into this bar with a crowd of infants shouting obscene terms, vomiting and urinating whilst being blind drunk and spilling your beer all over the floor youd probably be one of the better behaved customers
