Beerlady I agree, this place has changed so much and theres agreat atmosphere especially when theres a match on. Live music has just started on a regular basis so we'll be walking up the hill more often in future.

Much improved pub just off the High Street good range of beers and ciders great place to spend the evening with the occasional bands playing

Great little boozer just off Union Street. Nigel the landlord really looks after you - great place for a pint.

Know what you mean about the gents but I heard that theyre going to do some refurbishment work inside in the New Year. Best place in Cowes now for a proper pub pint.

Recently refurbished and doing food again. Best range of beers in Devon I had a choice of SEVEN lagers so all my mates could have what they wanted. Great place with live music just started as well

Lovely little boozer with eight real ales. Friendly atmosphere with a really good crowd in the evenings.

Just been back after a year and how this place has changed theres a really good feeling in this pub and the landlord controls things very well. fantastic range of beers are kept well this place is on my good pub list from now on.

good location just before the high street starts, quiet little boozer with a good atmosphere
