This is an average place ( was a Waitrose supermarket a few years back)and as said by beershot the only entry in Good Beer Guide 2013, which just shows how bias those tree-huggers from Camra are.Ther are far better pubs in Godalming.

It`s the one hit comments that put regular users of this site off a pub,if the people got out and commented on other places their view would hold more weight.

vstaffy strange you have travelled the planet and have been to some of the finest and worst but only comented on this one place.

Glad you made money,but spoons aren`t real pub`s they are just warehouse`s with a certain sort of custom give me a family run pub anytime.
Why are other pubs closing because there local drinkers are going to cheap plastic place`s like spoons.

Good family run pub we also found it very friendly,Guinness on top form.
