The Quorn, Nottingham

I went one saturday night. No beer on at all. Left, and won't return.

The Admiral Rodney, Wollaton

I don't understand the low rating for this pub. It is a good one.

The Beechdale, Wollaton

A hellhole. No more can be said.

The Pullman Inn, Widmerpool

Of course it was a railway station Lu. It's obvious!

More a restaurent than a pub.

Queen Adelaide, Sneiton

No it's not. It's pretty good.

20 Jan 2009 20:54

The March Hare, Sneinton

A very decent pub indeed. The lounge has to be seen to be believed. It was immaculate.

20 Jan 2009 20:52

Fiveways, Sherwood

Great multi-roomed pub. Surprised by it's rather low rating.

20 Jan 2009 20:48

The Lion, New Basford

I'm also surprised ny the low rating. This isn't a great pub, but it's a solid 6/10.

The Belle Vue, Mapperley

This pub is currently closed. It was run into the ground over many years. Some decent attempts have been made to attract punters, but they all seem to fail.

The Sir John Borlase Warren, Nottingham

Great pub, with plenty of beers and decent food.

20 Jan 2009 20:25

The Sir Charles Napier, Nottingham

A few years ago this was a decent pub. Now it seems to be in total decline. The last two times I've ben in, thre was no real ale on.

20 Jan 2009 20:23

The Peacock, Nottingham

I really like this pub. It's nice and traditional with two rooms, and is very comfortable.

They've even got board games like "Operation" if you fancy a game.

The Newshouse, Nottingham

Good pub, with always pleanty of beers on.

20 Jan 2009 20:13

The Magpies, Nottingham

Now demolished!!

20 Jan 2009 20:11

The King John, Nottingham

Worst. Pub. Ever.

20 Jan 2009 20:08

The Lamp, Sneinton

Cheap bitter, but a strange strange place.

2 Dec 2007 17:55

The George Hotel, Wallingford

The bar is ok, but the food is appalling. The bed and breakfast rates are extortionate.

2 Dec 2007 10:08

Hotel Deux, Sherwood Rise

Seems to have stopped doing food? Beers were excellent though.

10 Nov 2007 13:33

The Punchbowl, Mapperley

Surprisingly it always seems quite busy. Reasonable choice of beer, and the food isn't bad either. Keep up the good work.

Old Volunteer, Carlton

Once a nice little 2 roomed pub, it is now a dark
pit full of young people. They have to go somewhere I suppose.

10 Nov 2007 13:28

The Blacks Head, Carlton

Great little pub.

10 Nov 2007 13:26

The Victoria Hotel, Beeston

Great pub. Great beers. Great food. Best pub in Nottingham. I welcome the ban on mobile phones - it makes a nice change not to have to put up with the usual inane conversations.

10 Nov 2007 13:24

The Malt Shovel, Beeston

A bit too busy for my taste, but good range of beers including some Nottingham brewery ones.

10 Nov 2007 13:22

The Horse and Groom, New Basford

An excellent pub, with plenty of beers to choose from.

10 Nov 2007 13:20

The Turf Tavern, Nottingham

Utterly ruined by recent makeover. There are loads of latenight bars, and very few ordinary locals in the city centre. A real shame.

10 Nov 2007 13:16

The Golden Fleece, Nottingham

Absolutely ruined by refurbishment. It was great before, a little tatty but comfortable. Now seems to be only for youngsters.

10 Nov 2007 13:11

The Forest Tavern, Nottingham

As good as ever. Hope it remains open.

10 Nov 2007 13:10

The Robin Hood and Little John, Lambley

This was a great little pub which has been closed for refurbishment for most of the summer. Hope it hasn't been ruined.

10 Nov 2007 13:07

The Windsor Castle, Carlton

Bog standard new-ish pub. Nothing special.

10 Nov 2007 13:06

The Fox and Hounds, Carlton

Nice looking pub, and once a great local. Now being run into the ground.

10 Nov 2007 13:04

The Peacock, Nottingham

A great pub for a quiet drink. It has retained two separate rooms, is well decorated (look at the etched windows for example) and has several well kept beers.

10 Nov 2007 13:02

The Black Horse, Caythorpe

Well worth a visit. The beer is made in a little brewery at the back. it is just a shame you rarely see Caythorpe beers. The pub itself is sall, but has two separate rooms, and some tables outside.

10 Nov 2007 12:58

The Plainsman, Mapperley

An average local. It will have to improve if it wants to survive with the new Tynemill pub being build next door.

10 Nov 2007 12:55

The Tree Tops, Nottingham

Terrible place. More a restaurant than a pub, the drinking area is small-ish, and in need of a facelift.

10 Nov 2007 12:54

The Plough Inn, Radford

Definately the best pub in Nottingham. The Nottingham brewery beers are all excellent, and the food (although choice is rather limited)is cheap and plentiful.

10 Nov 2007 12:52

The Gladstone, Nottingham

One of the best pubs in Nottingham. Oh, and keep the Harvest Pale - it is great.
