The Vansittart Arms, Windsor

Cracking little boozer, stumbled across it by mistake. Popped in for a quick pint and left legless many hours later. Good ales and good atmosphere.

All Bar One, Windsor

I'm to old and not cool enough for this place. And the atmosphere lets you know it.

The George, Eton

Is this a pub or a restaurant ? Make up you mind landlord and whilst you're at it look at lowering your prices ! (In a small whisper)good ales though.

The New College Arms, Eton

I have only recently started going to this pub but have to say I am really impressed. I stopped drinking bitter a couple of years ago as was getting fed up with all the nitro keg which seemed to have infiltrated everywhere I drank. However the London Pride in this pub is awesome and has turned me back onto the Bitter. Nice and easy going atnosphere and as it seems to be an undiscovered jewell can always get a table. Bar staff are friendly and look after you well. Now realising that I should have played this pub down or on a Sunday night they'll all leave the Henry VI and drink here...Arse.

The Henry VI, Eton

Great pub great location. For those of us who live near Slough but don't like drinking there this place is brilliant. Great Guinness and live music is good. Only downside is that it is the place to be on a Sunday night and as such gets very very crowded. this sometimes can be a bit much (How old am I ???) Food is reasonable and if I remember rightly a BBQ is usually on offer during the Summer. A great garden with lots of extra seating and lovely for thos summer nights drinking Guinness with your friends.

From the outside this pub looks like a dive. Walk past it and look in and you'd think it's a dive. Walk in and you'd think it's a dive. This pub is a dive ! But please don't get me wrong. I like this pub, it has character and local colour. The bar staff and owners are friendly and knowledgable and the service is top notch. It looks scary but I have never had any trouble in this pub. I have seen trouble but it is always between the Chavs/Scum and they keep to themselves. A great selection of bands play here and the place can really be jumping. Some of the locals are fun to sit back and watch as well, there is one girl who....how does that song go.....'is fit but she knows it' and acts accordingly, a small fish in a smaller pond. Bar staff and owners make an effort and so should you, don't be put off by appearances and go to this pub.

The Southbury Hotel, Enfield

Service Service Service. Bar staff are friendly enough but there's usually only one of them and they are having to serve 10+ people at a go. Football can and does bring the scum in (I see people are calling them Chavs these days). What really bugs me about the service though is that there's a bloke who sits at the end of the bar, with his inbred cronies, who watches paying customers get exasperated with the lack of service and leave and does nothing about. So what you ask. Well apparently he's the manager.

The Enfield Arms, Enfield Town

A visit to Enfield was not complete without several pints in this pub.

The Taps, Enfield

Pleasant surprise this one. On the outside it looks like one of those mock irish pubs that you find in shop units. Ans the big wooden door and inability to see inside makes you wonder if it's open or a private establishment. On the inside it's a completely different story. Good beer and Guinness, reasonable prices and effecient service. Service area around bar can get a bit cramped, but several tv screens for sport(although not intrusive)and comfortable seating. Never had a bad time in this pub.

Bar Form, Enfield Town

Trendy Bar in Enfield Shocker. I like this place it has a very relaxed atmosphere and is surprisingly welcoming. I am not trendy or cool by a very very long shot but have never felt out of place in this bar. Serves Absinthe which adds a nice twist to an evening. Bar Staff know there stuff and have no attitude you find in other places like this. All in all a top bar

Moon Under Water, Enfield

Cheap. Mixed grill is always good if you have no money (or stomach lining). Full of kids on a weekend night (and I mean kids)

The Old Sergeant, Chase End

I LOVE this pub. Good bears at excellent prices. Always a nice welcome from the superb bar staff. Guinness is poured properly. Glasses always clean. Great for watching Sport and as Monkfish points out Rugby given just as much chance as Football. I cant think of one way I would or could improve this pub.

Cricketers, Enfield

OK. There's not really much more you can say about this pub. I don't mind paying higher prices if I feel the enjoyment factor is worth it. However this pub lacks one thing - Atmosphere. It should have a good one, well cared for beer, friendly bar staff and a 'nice' clientele but I find the whole pub soulless
