The Top Bull shut recently, but it reopened early October 2016.
Been given a spruce up and now has a larger selection of beers, lagers and cider.
Glad to be back; long may it last!

Great harbour side pub.
Well kept Sammy Smith's Taddy Beers.
Excellent.

The Sweet Green Tavern, Bolton
Shocked by how much this once good real ale pub has declined.
Dirty, smelly (of dogs) and beer very average.
I hate to say it, but AVOID.
It's a dump.

Fantastic.
A proper brewery tap - great range of Bank Top's own distinctive, excellent ales, plus guests.
Only small but with lots to offer.
The taster tray is a great idea.
All the beers are really well kept.

Quirky, characterful old pub.
Good beer on hand pumps, friendly staff.
Nice surprise just off the harbour side.

The Black Horse Vaults, Whitby
Brilliant small pub.
I almost thought that pubs like this had gone for ever.
A great find.

Without doubt the nicest pub in Coniston.
Cracking real ales and good food; perfect for kicking back and relaxing after a hard day on Dow Crag!

The Gate Hangs Well, Headless Cross
Smashing little pub in the very traditional mould.
Very well kept real ales, pulled by hand; I had the Wadworth's 6X, which was very good.
Will certainly go again.

Great local.
Been going to the Top Bull for 30 years, so know it well.
Still has the loudest barmaid in Lancashire - Hiya Karen!
Legendary Thursday quiz night.
Stella, Trophy, Boddies, Holts, Flowers, Guinness and others.
Plus all BWFC games live on big screen.
Must be doing something right!!!

The Top Bull, Breightmet
Just had my best pint in years at the Top Bull.
Bombardier Colonel's Reserve.
Kept really well, not too cold.
Long may it continue!
