Handy little spot to meet near Canonbury station. Good selection of food and beers. Quiz nights etc. Chanced the Guinness and was pleasantly surprised, pulled Dublin style and allowed to rest before finishing off with a nice creamy head. Bar staff should put their phones away and look interested in customers Disappointed to see a few people walk in and out because of this. Overall though well worth a call

The Bank of Friendship, Highbury
Sorry but the Bank has gone downhill a lot since my last visit. Used pop in midweek for a quiet pint in afternoon while picking a few horses or on a weekend night. The friendly atmosphere has gone. Beer is ok but theres more to a pub than that

The Tipperary, Fleet Street
Nipped in one day around noon as I was early for appointment. I had two nice pints of Guinness before the lunch crowd came when it got crowded. Friendly staff. Wouldn't fancy if busy
