Dusty Miller, Barlborough

I like this pub, I go out of the way to go there. I've seen one gig there, a good sound and a good band. The carvery smells delicious. Beer is a little pricey. All the adverts and posters for upcoming performances do make it look slightly tacky in my opinion but well worth going still. My favourite pub in Barlborough.

Treble Bob, Barlborough

Expensive, around 3.50 for some beers. The food is not cheap either. However it is very tasty. It's only recently built but in that time it's had a refurb and it benefits a lot from this. Ideal place for taking the family/friends etc. I really like it, didn't before :)

De Rhodes Arms, Barlborough

Cheap and verging on nasty, but still very cheap if that's what you want. I seem to remember it being a lot better than this. Still a carvery for 3 or whatever, you get what you pay for!

The Royal Oak, Barlborough

Quiet, prompt service, good beer although not a great selection, attractive pub with a good pool table. I've ate there before and it was very good. Would reccomend this one.

The Rose and Crown, Barlborough

Just re-opened again, lovely old building, good beer, ideal for a quiet drink during the day. However they can't cope very well when it's busy, to the point of ignoring people at the bar because they find other stuff to do. Very annoying. I haven't tried th food but that does look good.

Apollo Inn, Barlborough

Staff are friendly enough but the locals are a little on the rough side. I wouldn't go in alone, not because it's threatening or anything just that it's not a pub to enjoy a quiet drink. Beer is ok, pub is a little tired. Prices are good though.
