The Edmund Halley, Lee

Wetherspoons in Lewisham far better, I am a new local and have tried three times, each time the place smelt of sick and was dirty. Avoid

The Fleece, Coggeshall

Very pleasant people, a lovely pub, best in the village

The Sun Inn, Feering

Went there the other week, guess what a guest ale! 'Burns', however on closer inspection also made by Shepherd Neame. They are promising some in Feb, we will see

The Chapel Inn, Coggeshall

Excellent beer, the landlord when I was there started shouting at his wife, then spat on her. Avoid.

The Sun Inn, Feering

Great pub still, but all Shepherd Neame now as stated, for me, Shepherd Neame does not cut the mustard. Still has a sign at the bar stating guest ales, which we obviuosly never see, a shame. Beer is kept well though, however now quite pricey. Very pleasant staff, just miss the guest ales, a sad loss, I will miss it.

Shame, no more beer direct from the barrel, Youngs beer on tap. Shame in its place boxes of crisps.......

On the plus side, cleaner and quite pleasant. Sort the beer out though please

I am afraid to say that this place is going downhill fast and a real shame. Once when there were 3/4 real ales, now if you are lucky a mediocre one. Even a lack of draft lager ?!?

The Brew Wharf, London Bridge

A lost opportunity, beer is awful, place is dull and pretentious. As for the service and attitude of staff just read the comment by the management

Market Porter, down the road, traditional good pub with excellent real ale and friendly service

This is an Oasis in London, forget Lewisham. Small quiet 'country' pub with great ale. I have never had a pint that was not 100%, unlike a wetherspoon lottery pub. Sharp's is the regular guest ale, very tasty.

Great Food, No TV, Good unimposing music, My Mum like this Pub and all my mates like it! It is the dog's bollox. Nurses too at lunchtime:)

The Station, Hither Green

If the football is not on it is worth a visit, Good reasonable food, ale was ok.

Football on forget it. Two massive screens in both bars
