The Junction Tavern, Kentish Town
The phrase gastro pub makes me think of gastroenteritis. It certainly doesn't make me hungry. The Black Cat was excellent though.

In the old Morrells days this was a great place. Now it is a sad parody of an English pub, full of junk shop rubbish and only serving Greene King's lamentable beers. One to avoid.

The Rose and Crown PH, Oxford
On entering I was seized by two Ukrainian wrestlers who held me upside down by the ankles and shook me until all the cash fell from my pockets.
Actually - that didn't happen, but being charged �3.20 for a pint felt like it. I won't be rushing back.
