Is even open on Bank Holiday mondays. Not a great place to sit outside as busy traffic everywhere.

Big food portions. Decent beer choice. Old style interior. Can feel slightly stuffy if crowded - otherwise good.

Splendid location but unfortantely no food was available late on a Sunday afternoon so we went to The Devils Dyke.

Small enclosed spaces with much beer memorabilia from through the years, good pub but expensive.

The Great Western Hotel, Basingstoke
Weird old place - one light on at the top room but empty and dead downstairs. Must be scary staying at this hotel. Despite the boards outside advertising events I believe it is closed.

10 Quid for 3 drinks does seem quite pricey - given one of them was a soft drink. Lovely location but not the most exciting beer range, Youngs ordinary, Courage best and Ringwood Old Thumper. However the food was nice, if also expensive. Nice interior, you pay extra for a good pub sometimes.

It is what it is - really expensive beer, think Guinness was �4 a pint. There is two real ales in T.E.A and Bombardier, but the cheesy music is loud and off-putting even in the afternoon. No more than 3/10.

Fairly poor live music venue, I don't see the fuss of this pub.

Paid a visit in the middle of the week, probably one of the better pubs in town in my opinion. Sat downstairs although there is an upstairs area which would have been nicer, they are unclear though and it gives the impression this is merely for diners and not those just after a pint. As many as 6 real ales on and the Proper Job beer was pretty good. Gloomy interior however and not much choice of seating, lack of privacy, overall it is about a 7 out of 10 but lacks something.

Visit yesterday 31/07/10. Seems like a fairly clean Wetherspoons which is a good thing, various sport on the many TV screens around, although typically the sound was off and there was subtitles. I'm never sure why they need to do this as there is not music in the background.

Oh dear, it is ashame to have to report back so soon but im afraid today was the last straw, awful awful service took 20 minutes for anyone to appear then they just serve the first guy they see, while i've been waiting for ages a complete joke!!
Not to mention the complete and utter dirtyness of this pub, sticky floors, dirty tables, dirty cutlery..children running around everywhere, ive complained enough but dont wish to return until it improves... maybe a few months time.

Situated next to Fleet train station, so not hard to find, decent drinks range. The place is set up for DJ's at the weekend. Showed darts on Sky Sports. Reasonable but not fantastic.

In the centre of the town of Guildford. This pub is a large Wetherspoons, many tables are situated for diners or just drinkers, I feel the place is a little grubby and could do with a real good old clean up. Dirty tables and not very clean cutlery on visit. Could do better, excellent Anastasia Stout however.

Had an excellent beer here, it really was very good at 3.9%, sadly the name has gone from my memory! Even so, I recommend this pub for its beer and location.

Pub situated close to Bramber Castle. This proved an ideal spot for some lunch and a drink on a Sunday afternoon. Plenty of real ales on, including the Sussex Bitter which was fine. Plenty of food advertised, although the food is somewhat disappointing. Worth a visit if in the area.
