Really gone downhill recently. If it was managed properly it would be top. Beer always running out and now that the smoking ban has come in, it totally stinks of stale beer and urine.

Touristy and somehow lacking in atmosphere and character. taff very professional to the point of being stand-offish. I work around the corner and often have a pint at lunchtime. Consistantly excellent quality beer.

Paxtons Head, Knightsbridge

True, the staff seem permanently confused but it's a pleasent clean pub and I've always found the beer to be good.

The Dukes Head, Putney

I don't get it, this pub is always busy, it always has nice staff, the service is pleasent and nice and the beer is good. Yes it's a bit expensive, but it's on the river and it's a really nice pub. Why should it be cheap? Who cares anyway, I'll be still drinking there.
