No - I'm not an estate agent. I'm not sure of your understanding of the word 'professional'!

I don't think the Tup is overpriced. Afterall, if you want to eliminate rif raf you have to put prices up. Being overpriced is a matter of opinion. I would rather pay more for my larger if it means I don't have to drink with undesirables!

I'm glad to see the food is going to improve.

Venus, Colliers Wood

I walk past this place most evenings. It has potential to be a great place. It is next to the tube station and the redesign of the tower and tower island will bring in more people. They need to look at the local market. There are more and more professionals moving into the area with high disposable income looking for somewhere to spend it. We have to go to the Tup as it is the only place that appeals to us. I have not even been tempted to go into Venus. It looks like a dark, dingy, boreing pub trying to find its identity. There are also some odd looking people sitting by the windows that would put anyone off.

Come on...Get some more light, get some events and get some big screens for sport. Do you not want our cash?

This pub is probably the only decent pub in Colliers Wood. However, the food is rubbish and they really need to get a new chef.

There is more and more of a demand for this type of pub in colliers wood as more and more professional move into the area. It has prime location, what with the tube station and redesign of the tower and tower island.

The pub has a great future. We just need to keep pushing the old clientele out and so help turn the area into the next Balham/Clapham.

I went here once and the food was rubbish. It was even cold! Tried to get near the bar but there was a load of people in the way - not talking and just staring at people, looking very bored.

Heard they are trying to sell lease for reduced price of 50k. Hopefully it will get taken on by some decent people who will turn it a little more up market. The demand is coming now as more and more professionals move into the area and change colliers wood into the next Balham/Clapham. We just need to push out the old clientele.
