The Hoop and Toy, South Kensington
As someone who works nearby most lunchtimes are spent having a swift half in the Hoop, good pub with friendly staff, have added guest ales to beer range and the food is very good, but does get packed very quickly and can be smokey at times, tho now have a no smoking at the bar policy !!!!

Had many a fun night there, but it can get a bit messy, good laugh tho, just make sure you have ya dancing trousers on !!!!!

This was my late fathers regular wateringhole when we lived in Chiswick and been in a few times with him, hope it still has the same character ???
Have they still got the Theatre upstairs ?
Just round the corner from the excellent Andys kebabs (I used to know Andy), hope they are of the same high standard they were when we lived locally ???

The Packhorse and Talbot, Chiswick
Not been in for a while (last time they still had the pool tables) but this was always one of the best and liveliest pubs in Chiswick, had many a fantastic night here, must pop back soon !!!!

Not been in there for a while but was always an ok pub, I have heard my old mate Nigel Christie drinks/plays pool here can anyone confirm as Id like to have an ale or two with the man, and give him a good hiding on the table (again) ???? :-)

This used to be a real dump and seriously rough place, we had a pitch at the playing fields in Noel Rd across the way, so this was our nearest postgame watering hole, and it was a hole back then too, so we never stayed long !!!
Have known the current owners (and their sons) for a few years now through the local pool league and they are top people and have really turned the pub around, good beer and friendly service and if youre looking for a good game of pool this is the place to play !!!!

Great pub, just a pity its not very easy journey for me to get there or I would be use it a lot, sood beer, good atmos and great for live sport, cant recommend it high enough !!!!

Nice pub, nice food (Tuesday is curry night), good beer at good prices and a no smoking area, though they should stop people smoking in it after they have eaten !!!!

Superb pub, best in the area and being a Chelsea supporter for many a years I know almost all the bars in this area !!!!!
Been to a few gigs there too and always had a great time, highly recommended !!!!
The tossers across the road (S&L not the White Hart) could learn a thing or two from the people who run this place, keep up the good work guys and gals and hope to be back soon !!!!

Only been in here a few times, once on a match night (great atmos) and once when the tossers over the road (S&L) upset us (see their comments page), so can only say, been in there twice and had a good time on both occasions !!!!

The Spinning Wheel, Northfields
Have been going in the Spinner for last couple of years, best pub in the area IMHO !!!!
So if you like a clean, well run bar with good bands, good beer and good company, then this is the place to choose !!!!
Also has 2 big screens and 2 plasma screens for all your sports viewing needs, come on down you know you want to !!!!!
(Do I get my free Stella now Kieron ???) :-)

As of Wed 24 Nov 2010 The Spinner is closed to be replaced by a bloody Sainsburys, thats just what we need as theres not enough shops like that in the area !!!!
She will be missed, RIP The Spinner
