The Fountains Abbey, Paddington

Very popular Paddington pub - crawling with people every Friday evening, but somehow it never takes very long to get served. Efficient, friendly staff. Decent selection of ales, and any food I've tried has been pretty decent.

The Scarsdale Tavern, Kensington

Great pub - like the seats outside (with heaters during the winter), good atmosphere, perfect for a pre-cinema pint or two. Got served nice and quickly as well. But yes, no seats to be found..

The Monkey Puzzle, Paddington

Good pub - had the BBQ food last night and it was great food and lots of it - really good value. Great Badger brewery beers, and good service made it a really fun evening. Lots of tables outside, and big screens both outside and in, mean everyone's happy.

The First Edition, Canary Wharf

Pleasant (if suit-filled) bar, good selection of drinks, not too pricey given the location, lots of seats outside, charming atmosphere if a little bland.

Gordon's Wine Bar, Charing Cross

Fab selection of wine, lots of atmosphere, very efficient bar staff means you get served really quickly regardless of the crowds. The seats outside next to the park are lovely now as well, and means it's more likely you'll find somewhere to sit.

On Anon, Piccadilly Circus

Good drinks at good prices during happy hour(5-7.30) Though the prices go crazy after that. Rude rude staff (from the bathroom attendants, to the bar staff in my experience). A bit soulless.

The Bierodrome, Clapham

Overpriced but good beers, pretentious clientele, but yet keep going back so it can't be that bad.

The Two Brewers, Clapham

Wandered in here by accident on a chilled Friday night - really liked it. Cheap drinks (certainly cheaper than lots of other places in Cla'm), good beer selection, funky music, relaxed atmosphere.

The Queens Arms, South Kensington

Good food (if a little pricey), good selection of beers, friendly and efficient staff, nice surroundings. Doesn't get much better.

The Prince Regent, South Kensington

If you're in the area, there are soooo many better pubs you could go to. Slow, discourteous service from a staff that are clearly overworked and underpaid - went in at lunchtime to have food but had to leave to go back to work before the food had even arrived. Friends who have eaten there before have said it's really not worth waiting for. Great decor and innovative cocktails are probably the only upsides
