Just got back from lunch at and had a great time. Food was fab, the service was very slow which suited us as we were on a long lunch. But I would not recommend for a quick business lunch. Drinks were great and waiters very fun. Haven't been here for drinks after work, might be a bit expensive.

The Franks are playing here on Friday 10th March, if you can make it do, they are the best way to start your weekend! Will post after and let you know if the beer has got any better.

Great place for up and coming bands, seen a band called The Franks last Friday who were great. Keep an ear out for them. The Comedy is a pretty good watering hole, ladies the loo's are not amazing but pass the test just. Bar staff are very friendly and super fast!

Fab Fab Fab, you can hire the top bit for free fits about 50 or so people, they also have a under ground bar which is really cool for private parties. I think that has room hire. Great staff and drinks. Go go go

The Tabernacle Bar & Grill, Old Street
City pub for city people. If you like looks but not comfort this is the place for you.

I've never had a problem in this pub and go a few times a month. Good beer good range of wine, and shots on offer most weeks.

I really like this pub, genuine staff. Great for City people who don't like City pubs!

I think they had trouble because of the previous owner. Such a shame it was the best place in NX to drink! Although they did charge door entry even though they didn't have a late licence or music some nights. But please come back!

The Goldsmiths Tavern, New Cross
Beer could be better, seems very empty most nights which is great if you want a quite drink and to play pool.
Bring back the Aussie Barman

Used to be a bit rough, seems better now. Although they could upgrade the bar maids, I think they are on commission to not get you drinks.
I second the comment about the kids, thank god!

This joint is ace. I went 2 weeks after it opened and had a great night. Very comfy and friendly. Best cocktails and good happy hour too! What more do you need!

This is a great little pub, very friendly atmosphere. They have just re-done the garden which looks great, and have opened up a Thai restaurant out the back. You can still order food in the pub too.

The Watershed, Wimbledon
I haven't been there before but The Franks are playing there on Thursday 23rd March, if your local make a trip the down, they are well worth it. I'll update you after I find out about the service / door staff.
