No real ale I’m afraid, but Fosters, Stella, Amstell, Heineken, Strongbow, John Smiths Smoothflow and of course Guinness are available in this Irish pub. Three screens and the ability to air Sky and Setanta give this pub a sporty feel. I found the barmaid to be pleasant enough although there were only 4 other people in the whole pub and I still had to stand behind them to order as they never acknowledged my presence. Apart from the tossers at the bar this seemed to be an OK pub and if I was going past I would visit again. Strongers - 6 Jun 2008 15:51
It's called Flangans now. On the plus side the beer is good and well-priced and it's hard to go wrong with the food, especially the sunday dinners which top anything nearby for value and quality. On the downside the staff could smile a bit more - they all look like they're dreading being sacked for something or another. random_ranger - 23 May 2008 16:54
Flynns Bar and Diner celebrated 4 years trading in October, it was a mighty birthday party, a gorgeous free buffet was provided, and locals and visitors enjoyed a great night! TucanFinucane - 24 Nov 2006 08:24
