A good honest boozer, really quick service. Busy on Friday and Saturday nights. Well kept beers, sky sports. Hard to fault. lobster56 - 8 Sep 2008 01:56
Courage Best and Adnam’s Bitter on. The Adnam’s was £3 per pint, which now seems to be the Central London going rate for an average pint of beer. But it tasted OK. Seating comprises plastic covered settles and tables, plus high stools around ledges by the windows. The layout of this pub remains unchanged since it was one of my regular haunts back in the 70s. This is another one of those OK but nothing special pubs. OK for a pint if you’re passing, but not worth going out of your way for. RexRattus - 4 Sep 2008 18:37
I've only started using this pub recently after having given up on The Plough. Beer's good with friendly and efficient service from english barstaff who actually understand your order! smudger69 - 27 Jun 2008 09:21
Surprisingly quiet at 6pm, when just around the corner the Princess Louise was heaving. I suppose that it is difficult to compete on price with a neighbouring Sam Smith's pub, but the Adnams here is excellent. rpadam - 6 Feb 2008 22:51
Great place with friendly staff and good service. When visiting london we usually always manage a beer or two here. My wife says the ladies needs re-decorating but then nowhere's perfect. Dan137 - 3 Feb 2008 10:55
