No more the base for London Leeds fans...shame.

This pub closed more than a year ago... now it's a gastropub without name, I think.

Been going to this place regularly for five years now. Lyndsey is a great host, and does a brilliant job with her regular rotation of bar staff. The Thai food is not just great - it's pretty awesome, especially the curries. However, I brought some mates here and they were nonplussed. The beer's not cheap, I guess, and it can get full with suits...so why do I go?? I suppose it feels like a local pub. It's very friendly and has atmosphere. What more do you want?

There are some bad pubs around Covent Garden/Holborn, and this is by no means the worst of the bunch.
But I wouldn't go to the Rampage (why the name?!?) by choice. Went in this week as a friend had reserved a couple of tables for birthday drinks. They sell 2 ales; the one I tried was horribly off. Why I didn't point this out to the staff (who were very friendly) I don't know. My bad. So I stuck to the wine, which wasn't great for £14.50 a bottle. The pub was stuffy and smoky, especially up at the back where we were. Decor is weird, like they can't decide whether to be traditional or modern. Can't remember the music policy. In summary - could do better.

Great place for drinks, awesome thai food and friendly staff. Ian did a great job and now Lindsey has carried on the success. Too many great nights to remember in there, always very accomadating and helpful. Recommend!
