| All in all this was a great pub. Went in twice, once during the day and the other in the evening..daytime was more relaxed and in the evening was more loud and boulshy had a great time at both. Didn't find drinks at all that expensive (there are dearer places in CG) the only down point was that the girl behind the bar was constantly suggesting you give her a pound from your change as a tip!! so i suggest going to the bar with the correct amount if you can!! unless of course you want to tip them. Great experience! donnadoo - 2 Jun 2008 12:48 |
| Their web site suggests it is a sports bar but they weren't showing the biggest football match ever between 2 English clubs. Poor beer selection too. If you like Walkabout, go to Walkabout. If you don't like Walkabout, don't go here mdct - 1 May 2008 10:24 |
| Back-packer magnet bar which entices Antipodeans, foreign students and tourists. Bar staff Sunday night were complacent and unbothered by customer needs- apart from bloke with the tattoos and beard who seemed to be left alone, isolated to work the bar as his colleague was more interested in mucking around with 'their' own in house juke box, playing 90's heavy rock overly loud solely for his own need and barley bothering to get off his stool to attend to the two obvious groups of party goers who frustratingly had to wait single file to be served? | Visited this pub on a Friday evening. Good music and lively atmosphere, but very crowded. Bar staff were all so drunk that they completely forgot to charge us for two rounds, so average price of a beer was greatly reduced! Oolybel - 17 Apr 2007 09:42 |
| Expensive except for happy hour, but then that's to be expected. Good fun place, apart from that, loud music and lots of cool, friendly people. pintofstrongbow - 6 Sep 2006 16:18 |
