Smallish corner pub, modernised and very light with many windows - also many HD TV screens. Opens at 12am and when I went in at about half past it still smelt of floor cleaner - sadly, so did my half of Tribute. But worth a second chance. SimonM - 12 Aug 2011 19:20
Called in here for a pint yesterday whilst doing some shoppping in Kingston. I've walked past this place hundreds of times and thought I'd call in. It's alright, nothing special. Service was nice enough and it seems to get busy when there's sport on TV when I've walked past before. GK IPA on draught and London Pride which was off at the time. Quite small inside with a smoking area out back. thehonesttruth - 18 Nov 2009 11:37
Great little pub in Kingston high street. Whilst small it has great ales, and has just put in 2 new flat screen tv's, taking the total to 3. It has a new video jukebox, and has now started Sunday roast. Not a commercial warehouse pub like spoon's but a friendly independent bar. Doesn't tolerate idiots. A great place to go for a beer or watch sport. bestbarnone - 7 Oct 2008 13:49
Quite full of tables at the Clarence Street end, this is a small pub that is one of all too few pubs in the centre of Kingston. As a result it gets quite busy. Staff are efficient and friendly though and the decor is fresh and clean. Two cask beers (the ubiquitous London Pride and also Adnams) and lagers also. rainlight - 20 Jan 2008 09:45
| Very nice pub, friendly bar staff, and decent clientèle (apart from a brief scuffle between a couple of idiots). Only opened until midnight, but after the shocking behaviour of doormen when trying to get into Lloyds Bar up the road, the staff here allowed us to buy drinks to take back to the hotel, so a good end to the evening.
