Tell your friends...really friendly helpful staff who actually give table service...even just for drinks!Mellow vibe, good tunes and comfy ambience. Pretty busy on Friday night (we thought the doorman was great, opened the door for us as we arrived and left and wished us well) but an awesome place to chill away the weekend. Brisk and decent lunch service during the week too. mysausage - 18 Feb 2008 21:21
This pub has the worst customer service in London. The manager is cocky and smug. The bulldog on the door is waiting for some poor tanked up customer to say something cheeky to him so he can re-shape his face. Don't buy a drink just before closing time because they won't let you finish it (or the bulldog will come round and encourage you to drink up in a non-polite manner). Don't leave your drink on the bar as they will take it away and tell you it is your fault for leaving it unattended. This happened to numerous people during the night. The manager will not sympathise and just give you smug smart sarky comments. PLEASE AVOID AT ALL COSTS> There are a million better pubs than this one in London! The staff, bouncer and Manager are a bunch of twankers!! Ricardo2007 - 22 Jan 2008 18:29
After a booked party we were frog marched out at 11.15 pm my fiancée politely voices his concern only to be set upon by the terrier at the door. One second we’re all enjoying the end of my birthday night, the next I sobbing as this Neanderthal pins my fiancée to the floor in the middle of Wardour Street. I, and all my friends, and all their friends shall never go to this bar again. The beer is fine, the staff behind the bar are efficient but the brain-dead monkey meat at the door is now being investigated following my report to the Police and Security Industry Authority (SIA). Be warned. LondonMan - 6 Oct 2007 17:54

I like this boozer, perfect to go to to escape oxford street and all the chaos that it brings. During the day it is comfortable and relaxed, in the evenings it gets livelier, perhaps a bit busy, but it does empty out during the week as the evening progresses as the workers go home. It also attracts some of the better looking women of the world, which has to be a plus. trickydisco - 5 Apr 2007 13:32
