Pretty dirty venue with moody staff. But mostly I didn't like the face that they ripped off my friend who hired the venue. He had agreed that if we spent a certain amount of money over the bar to get free BBQ. At the end of the night when we had spent twice the amount required they presented him with a very big bill for food and claimed to have never made the free food promise. When my friend tried to argue his case they threatend calling the police. Happy birthday yeah, cheers.... Dont go! garrynoworries - 9 Jun 2008 21:22
This place must be under new management or something, it done nothing to impress me. A lovely place, the beer was OK, the staff pleasant enough, but there was something missing. I suspect the noisy old soak at the bar was the new manager, but hope for the sake of the pub I was wrong. 2pintsofbitter - 13 Feb 2007 10:32
Great pub. Went in a Friday night when it was quite busy but the barman, who was already serving someone, took notice and asked what drinks I would like. He then served me immediately after and, because it was Guinness, he brought them over to us. Friendly atmosphere, excellent beer. Hucks - 2 Feb 2006 13:15
Nice Irish theme pub. Well run serving London Pride and a nice pint of Guiness. Usual suited clientele but unlike some of the small pubs in the area woman don't feel out of place. Restaurant upstairs. TheHorsesMouth - 20 Oct 2005 13:46
Great atmosphere - owner is brilliant. Fabulous gargantuan barbecue food and a wonderfully relaxing roof garden towering above the city fumes. Lovely place to get away from it all in your lunchbreak. Keith's comment on 'mental views' needs to be regarded as sarcasm though! Shell - 30 Jun 2004 11:31
