Generally a varied and well kept range of beer at sensible prices. Staff competent and friendly. Toilets ok. Reliable Wetherspoon product.

A spoons is a spoons. Decent clientele who don't bother you, you could talk if you want to.

Might be a Spoons with all of the usual Spoons issues, but on 30th October at 1pm, they had beer and the Bricklayers at the other end of town had run out!

A couple of nice pints went down before Sunday lunch at the POW.

Downstairs is like an oven, the part behind the bar at the back is particularly unpleasant. Upstairs is a bit more airy, but minimal beer range & poorly staffed.

Not the most welcoming sight on the ground floor, but a bit better upstairs - as long as someone is staffing the bar!
The usual good value and choice that Wetherspoons provides.
Food service (at least tonight) was incredibly fast!
