| I and my girlfriend went for a little motorcycle ride from South-East London to Bognor Regis on Saturday. By the time we got to Petworth we got a bit peckish and saw this pleasant looking pub by the road. We parked our bike and were about to enter the pub when the landlady confronted us and adviced us that the pub has a strict "no motorcyclists" policy. I was utterly confused - this is the first time in my six years of motorcycle touring I have ever encountered anything like this anywhere in the world.
