| This is just one of those pubs you feel lucky to have found, its off the beaten track in a wonderful old candlelit georgian (?)building with fantastic ales on tap and a restaurant out the back that just keeps things nice and simple and all very reasonable. Barney1 - 1 Jun 2008 23:07 |
| An absolute gem of a pub! Have been coming to this place on and off for a number of years and despite several changes in ownership, it has kept its character. Excellent roast beef lunch - one of the best I've eaten! A fine selection of well kept real ales, too. | Had a Sunday lunch here. Excellent roast and reasonable price. Taylor's Landlord was very good. Building looks a little odd (i.e., has character), inside and outside, being an ex-tannery. Staff were very friendly. Psi - 27 Nov 2006 13:24 |
