| Burns night at the ROYAL OAK. BRILLIANT. All the traditional dress, bagpipes a wee dram with haggis, tats and neeps happily dished out to all by Colin and Tina. (For Free) The night started with a patriotic speech praising the scots and light-heartedly knocking us brits, After wich the haggis was paraded around the pub by the chef with Colin and the piper in full dress and the pipes in full song. Then came the address to a haggis performed by Colin who acted and orated it in magnificent style. After toasting the haggis the piper played as the food was handed out and enjoyed by all . With all the whisky on special and the obvious banter going round it was a fantastic evening. largerbelly - 26 Jan 2008 15:50 |
