Very good value for money on food and drink. Cheaper than wetherspoons even and better.
It does however seem to attract alcoholic old men during the day, but then again what do you expect!

This pub has recently been sold to a new company called Stonegate and the changes that have been made have been fantastic. New drink and food menus which are very reasonably priced and would rival any in the local area and also some investment into the pub which the old company was reluctant to spend and it has made a massive difference!!! With a friendly management team and staff some with a sense of homour which often have each other and the customers chuckling, I recommend anyone who finds themselves in the Plymouth area to visit whether it be for a meal snack or dare I say it a drink or two(it is a pub after all!!!)

this pub has gone from strength to strength being part of the city centre community. people feel safe coming in to this site as they can see it is registered with city safe and plymouth pubwatch.
they have a zero tollerance of bad attitude and all situations are handled very well. i would recommend this site to anyone who loves a traditional pub with very reasonably priced food and drink
