| Ever seen one of those western films where every punter in the place is beating the crap out of eachother? Thats the oak. They had a bouncer once but the poor bloke ended upin hospital after someone took a cricket bat to his head. Pretty much every weekend the police are there. | Great 'locals' pub. It has cleaned up its act tremendously over the last few years. Landlord and staff very friendly, and a reasonable selection of beers and lagers. Can get loud, a bit too early on a Friday night. shedboy - 30 Jul 2005 13:03 |
