This pub has been under a lovely new manager for about a year now i think and it has really changed. It used to be a bit of a rough spot and i didnt go in there despite living just behind it but now i'm happy to go in for a drink after work or at the weekends. The staff are now generally very friendly, the pub is very clean, the food is good and the garden means you can enjoy a cold beer out in the sun. hats off to the new management and his staff. susanator - 27 May 2008 15:07
The pub infrastructuree is good and the food when the full staff complement is in attendance is good but this is uncommon. Very rowdy / criminal influences make this a high risk visit...watch your handbag!! A good venue soured by its clients!! JMCC - 2 May 2008 22:01
this pub needs working on big time and i mean big its been taken over by new managment now but there are changes happening but slowly which is a bit of a shame still only thing they need to do is get the place referbed a bit and kick out the rest of the idiots that still seem to be there but i can understand that the new managment cant bar them cuase thay havnt done anything idioticly in front of them yet bar staff are very friendly indeed espeacilly that barmaid charlotte who always went out her way to give me and my family the best customer service i have recieved. its a shame that a couple of the staff left espeacilly john he was and always will be the best barman ever but yeah keep up the good work and work hard that place will start bringing in a nicer crowd but new management aswell keep up the good work but changes can be a bit faster also i had a delicouse curry on thursday and will definitly be going back lamp - 6 Aug 2007 21:42
First pub I visited when I shifted to Battersea. never went back, dark smelly and inpersonal. Staff could not recommend a good beer! mooloomitch - 29 Jun 2007 15:35
Typical one-floor ‘Spoons. Stained glass, leaded windows give a rather plain pub some redeeming features. Two largescreen TVs don’t intrude and the guest beer was good. Not so good was a 25 minute wait for my food to arrive. Alerover - 22 Feb 2007 20:30
