This is really nice now. It's always been a nice pub on and off over the years - just a shame for some time it was spoilt by the usual Harefield element. The photo of the "Pickle Jar" needs to be changed to reflect the new name. Didn't have any food when visiting, just a quick drink but the menu looked reasonable. Staff were pleasant. Will definitely be returning.

You can not fault the place, now called The Harefield. The menu is great, with a good choise and everything is freshly made, not a microwave in sight. The staff are very friendly and knowledgeable. I look forward to going back soon.

Five Stars. Harefield deserves somewhere nice to avoid the CT and thugs. Great. Well dome!

What a turn-a-round. Cool interior without being a 'ponsey' London refurb pub, a great menu with prompt service, the Sunday roast is a must with the best gravy by far!! It also has amazingly friendly bar staff who do table service when not busy. Some
ecletic background music that is audible but that you don't have to shout over. Can't be bad

I went here some months back and it was horrific. However I heard they had a change of owners and ventured back ( twice ! )and the difference was huge.
Firstly the underage rabble have all gone, the place was clean , the beer good and the food excellent. The new owners obviously know what they are doing. Would definately recommend a visit if you are local
