Well, I think if you are going to drink / eat in this place, you know what to expect before you get here. Not very pleasant or friendly at all, but cheap prices all round. So you pay your money and take your choice...... DuncanDisorderly - 8 Nov 2007 22:26
For a chain; it's alright and the coffee is grandy. Mostly full of wife-beaters and ergo, women with black eyes, but that's kindly reassuring. Cool mirrors in the ladies toilets too. KilgoreTrout - 24 Jun 2006 20:51
Not the most exciting pub in the world - typical city centre Wetherspoons. Can take ages to get served on a Friday/Saturday night. But it's very cheap, and a good place to get your first few beers in before hitting the bars on Wind Street. Crow_Valley - 4 Jun 2006 23:05
Wetherspoons, and not a very good one. Lew - 9 Feb 2006 19:44
Tanglefoot £1.39 per pint. Need I say more? Seems a bit cheaper than most Wetherspoons eg Thursday Curry Club is £3.99 not £4.99. Beer is kept reasonably well and a good selection of real ales. Very small non-smoking area though. Busy, but not oppressively so, even on weeknights. Fred - 13 Jul 2004 12:06
