All is needed is for the manageress to smile a bit more and maybe make you feel a bit more welcome on a Saturday afternoon instead of grunting at you and basically making you feel unwelcome, such a shame because the pub itself is a jewel and always has been.. landormick - 9 Oct 2011 09:34
What a wonderful little place to spend the dying Indian summers evening getting pissed on Pimms. The scrumptious proprietress of this rather unusually decorated establishment prides herself on her full works jugs and the Pimms is rather good too. Absolutely scrumptious ;-) BudVark13 - 8 Oct 2011 12:56
Great pub opposite The Sun in Clapham Old Town which is commonly too crowded in weekends. Brilliant interior full of a myriad of random objects that can keep you entertained for hours. Knowlsie - 10 Jul 2011 21:53
The only real local pub in Clapham! Friendly, quirky and great staff with the best bloody mary's for saturday recoveries from the night before. Its a great place to book for parties, they even let you bring your own food or order in take away from the surrounding area. They are also known for their real ales, not a preference of mine, but the rugby player deliver man is rather pleasant. Udvark - 8 Jan 2011 16:28
A bit gloomy inside with plenty of memorabilia on the walls (some of it a bit odd!) Decent real ale from small London breweries on offer, a decent place for a pint and a chat. beershot - 4 Jan 2011 13:26
