The last pub which I would recommend in the Village of Ripponden. Recently changed hands and little used by anyone (Lamdlord regularly locks up and goes drinking the Golden Lion next door!!). Admittedly based on 1 visit. No trad beer and no Guiness. Sold my soul to the devil and tried a pint of 'smooth'. Looked vaguely like beer but tasted more like Dettol. Shall not be rushing back
