Just opened, a very smart (rather than upmarket and pretentious) Arkells pub. Quite pleasant.

Had been closed for a time and now re-opened with new grey exterior and new name - The Rickety Press (see photo).

The Radcliffe Arms has indeed been taken over by new management and we wish them all the best. Thai food was good. Just a little out of the way for us to visit more often. Good luck to Andy and Cuchis!!

With the new management this pub changed for good. The THAI food that they serve is so good and the beers are very good. The pub looks really nice and clean, the staff is very friendly. I can recommend this pub to all the people because i think this pub really change for good.

Two out of the three pints of beer I was offered on a recent visit were undrinkable.
The Theakstons XB was not only cloudy but had large bits floating in it, I haven't seen that sort of thing in a long time.
I was accused of being rude when I asked for it to be changed.
Any perceived rudeness on my part was eclipsed somewhat by the foul language from the locals, which appeared to be acceptable.
