| On a first visit I quite like this pub. There`s nothing outstanding about the place at all, large old fashioned building, basic decor, basic (well kept) beers at a reasonable price, no frills boozer. It`s a slightly guilty pleasure of a weekend though....so I`m told....mature clientelle having a right mash up to cheesy tunes...can`t be a bad thing..decent and worth a visit. | Extremely noisy on our Saturday evening visit, with a disco in full force. The Sadlers Arms is a nice building in the town centre. Although the beer range was a tad limited, with only Marstons Best Bitter & EPA & Wychwood Hobgoblin & Paddy's Stout available. | A boisterous, no frills pub with some decent Marston's ales on offer. Plenty of TV screens for sport, and some basic entertainment advertised. Unpretentious and has much in common with The Red Lion in Shirley and the Highwood near the Land Rover. Not much more to add really... ILooklikeme - 3 Jan 2010 19:30 |
