| nice pub but myself and friends dont like draft beer only bottled beer why have pubs stopped selling the bottled stuff ? not everyone likes flat ale, apart from tigerlilly in leigh road does anyone know of any others ? do the pubs want more buisness or not there is quite a few of us, we usually have a small beer then go on to wine. palmerston - 12 May 2010 19:30 |
| Great pub with top quality, friendly bar staff. Real ale is available all the time and in my opinion is very well kept, with a regular change of guest ale. Food is better than average since a recent change to the menu. watch out for the fun but sharp tongued Australian manager. | Went in the SM before a wedding in the church opposite. The comments on here seem to be about right. Chirpy bar staff seemed quite welcoming. Beer nice if a little pricy. GROWBAG - 10 Sep 2007 13:19 |
