Large building, possibly too large for the current level of trade, this is the only pub (as opposed to cocktail bar) open past 11 through the week in Lytham. Of late they've just been carrying 2 real ales at a time, one regular (I forget what, maybe Theakstons Best?) and one guest -- but at least the limited range means they can guarantee the throughput to shift it before it turns nasty. One of few pubs in Lytham to still allow smoking at the bar. jkg - 21 Mar 2007 11:34
Visited The Station today as part of a pub crawl. St. Austell Tribute on tap - nice. Rather empty; a bit disappointing considering it's so close to Christmas. Terry_W - 15 Dec 2006 23:23
A good pub converted from an old railway station, unfortunately it tends to fill up at weekday lunchtimes with Hooray Henry types from the local insurance offices. Ray - 26 Oct 2004 19:55
