One bar freehouse. Outside they were promoting its real ales, but the selection was distinctly ordinary from the Wells and Youngs brewery. Youngs Ordinary was, well, a but ordinary.

Soulless, but there was a friendly pub cat to give a bit of atmosphere. Perhaps the place is busier at weekends.

We visited yesterday when they had a band playing out back. Can't fault the friendly staff but the beer! London Pride and Bombardier should never taste like soggy cardboard. Made worse as we'd been drinking nectar at the Flower Pot just before.

My mate just introduced me to this pub and first impression was great. A really good traditional feel to it, great staff and excellent beer, albeit a small selection. If I were more local I would certainly use it regularly, old fashioned, no frills friendly pub. Liked it.

Freiendly, traditional pub just a short distance away from the dubious delights of Maidstone's central shopping area. Two real ales on - a decent pint of Courage Best and also Bombardier.

A pleasing 'green oasis' in the town centre!

Splendid beer garden/back garden affair,Rabbits for the kids,Table Footie for the 'bigger' kids!

Decent pint of Courage Best and Bombadier on pump.

Very handy function room for those social occasions...started to have live music too!

Worth seeking this one out!
