My mate just introduced me to this pub and first impression was great. A really good traditional feel to it, great staff and excellent beer, albeit a small selection. If I were more local I would certainly use it regularly, old fashioned, no frills friendly pub. Liked it. old_windbag - 15 Apr 2011 08:16
Freiendly, traditional pub just a short distance away from the dubious delights of Maidstone's central shopping area. Two real ales on - a decent pint of Courage Best and also Bombardier. rpadam - 13 Nov 2009 22:34
A pleasing 'green oasis' in the town centre! Splendid beer garden/back garden affair,Rabbits for the kids,Table Footie for the 'bigger' kids! Decent pint of Courage Best and Bombadier on pump. Very handy function room for those social occasions...started to have live music too! Worth seeking this one out! nuckster1511 - 1 Jul 2009 17:11
An excellent well kept pub with friendly staff and generally good humoured clientele. The smoking area is unusually comfortable and popular with smokers and non smokers alike. The garden is great for kids offering pet rabbits and free(yes free!) air hockey and table football. beerstalker - 13 Feb 2008 20:43
Excellent pub to down a quick jar whilst on a night out. Has friendly bar staff, a good pool table and an excellent beer garden, which looks more like a normal back garden. The table football is also a right touch and has caused many a funny moment after a few drinks. Leebs - 2 Oct 2006 14:15
