Very family-oriented, well-kept garden and a great duck pond. Food was tasty and the service was very friendly. The landlady takes rescued birds from the likes of WADARS and this is to be encouraged. Three real ales, not a particularly exciting range, but all in good nick.
Will certainly go back.

Nice garden in the summer but the food is terrible.

Standard issue Brewer's Fayre pub, good for families with kids, nice duck pond, a couple of real ales but not a boozer or good real ale pub (agree with Uncle_Dunkel)

Family pub......oh well. Has seen many refits over the years and has a nice feel. I enjoyed my visit but here but moved on quickly (thanks Uncle_Dunkel)

Great location, especially if you are a family outing and the sun is shining. Beer is fine but the last time I was there I walked out because nobody seemed to want to take my food order and when they did they allowed some guy to muscle to the front of the queue.
