8 of us went to this pub today, 2 of them grandchildren 8 & 6. Meal was really good value and very nice. The children had a great time as there is a clown and a face painter on a Sunday. When we were leaving the children wanted to feed the ducks and the pub gave us a tub of food for them at no cost. We had a great time. Staff were really friendly too. Will certainly be going back.

OK, 'meals' before anyone else picks it up.

Nice Pub - as long as you have eighteen children.
And lots of tattoos.
And live in a caravan.
And a dog, on a rope.
And don't understand that pubs who serve 2 eals for a tenner do so because they have to.
Hopeless. Shame as it's a great location - troube is it's just too big for anyone to have the money to do it properly.

How about a dog fighting night? Would go down well with the punters....

Very family-oriented, well-kept garden and a great duck pond. Food was tasty and the service was very friendly. The landlady takes rescued birds from the likes of WADARS and this is to be encouraged. Three real ales, not a particularly exciting range, but all in good nick.
Will certainly go back.

Nice garden in the summer but the food is terrible.
