| this pub is ok, I did go to this pub just before christmas, however I dont normally say bad things, so I wont, I just didnt like it in here. I dont smoke, the pub stinks of smoke still, most pubs have got rid of the smell, this pub has not. I do feel abit uneasy walking in here, due to the gangs that are in the car park and by the door. | I am biased as it's been my dad's local since it opened many years ago but I like this pub a lot. Food is very good value, esp. the peri peri chicken (the landlord is Portugese) and the service is good. In the unlikley event you are in town to see Hitchin Town FC play, ideal for a pre or post match beer as it's within 5 minutes of the ground. barnetblackdog - 6 Feb 2006 11:14 |
