Good spot on Friday and Saturday night if you're not in too much of a serious mood and the bands they have on are loudish and fun. That said when I went down one sunday afternoon to watch a game of irish football it was sidelined by the premership on the big screen with the irish game designated to a small tv up the back. that hurt.

Irish pub that sells terrible guinness, maybe the staff from the Shanakee can come around and show them a thing or two, again must be said an irish pub with no irish in it.....weird.

good pub with good drink and service but the food is bland. Never came across a traditional irish coddle that has been grilled and then non-traditional colcannon added.......there version of coddle is like bangers and mash

Great Service, and a great place to meet people, but just cos its got an irish name, doesnt mean it has great guinness... Id stick to the lager :)
