| i think this pub is on its way up, the food was terrific and not badly priced!! staff were welcoming and helpful!!! they now have sky sports , kareoke was advertised fortnightly along with poker, and a darts competition!! we went halloween weekend were the staff were entertaining the kids with halloween games , apparently they do various activities periodically,!!! great friendly atmostphere ! go give it a go!!!!!! chocface - 6 Nov 2011 22:11 |
| Went there recently and the food etc was good. Everything seemed tidy and clean, including the well-appointed toilets. No chav/thug element in evidence. Judging by previous comments, it was either a lucky night or there must have been quite a few changes made recently. Staff were friendly and on the ball. Spoke to another customer as a stranger and they were cheerful enough. This place must be worth another go now if you have had a bad experience in the past. spexx - 22 Nov 2008 11:52 |
| wE WENT THERE 3 WEEKS AGO WITH MY BOYFRIEND IT WAS AWFUL THE FOOD THE HYGIENE EVRYTHING!! WE'VE BEEN EATING IN THE DUTCH HOUSE FOR MANY YEARS AND ALWAYS LOVED THE FOOD STEACKS.SALADS..GOOD QUALITY PRICE .THE GARDEN WAS LITTERED WITH CIGARETTES ,BINS WERE FULL NAPPIES INCLUDED,THE COUNTER WAS STICKY AND FLOATING! | This pub looks great from outside, we went in and it's a complete hole, it's also a bit scary as it seems to be full of the local chav/thug geezer element. We left immeadiatly. I won't be going back. Shame, looks like it has potential. ponyboy - 4 Jun 2008 16:42 |
