| The Hare & Hounds has certainly changed a lot over the past couple of years, so much so that it could easily be mistaken for another place altogether. This used to be a dark, dingy, miserable, lifeless place, with very few people and very bad staff. Since the take over, there is colour, life, atmosphere and general craziness all around! There are plenty of happy loyal customers like myself, who return again and again for the more than capable and always friendly bar staff, the fantastic variety of live music, the great food and the general good vibes that are forever flowing from the owners. This really is no ordianry pub! Apart from the pool tables that are always well kept, you can play giant jenga and giant connect 4!!! You can even have giant straws if you want!! | I can't believe the reviews of this pub, they just don't bare any resemblance to my experience. What I have found is good beer (and I like my beer), very friendly and switched on bar staff (allot of pubs don't have this)and in general, very friendly people. I particularly like the live music which is at an exceptional standard every weekend and free!!! The food is good too. I just like the place. Always have very good nights in here.
