| Been going to this pub for 3 years now but the last two weekends it has taken a deep nose dive. Wed night people shooting up in gents, weekends landlord not around much and Friday 29 Sept & Sat 6 October fights broke out in the place. A shame to spoil the venue as the live entertainment is varied and good, but with this kind of behaviour its got an air of tension and now it's not a nice place to be. - Disapointing but true anonymous - 6 Oct 2007 22:39 |

| This pub does have some great bands on, on a saturday night, but the booked band doesnt always show up so good to check before coming a long way. Watch out for Splinter (the landlords band) and A grumpy old threesome (grumpy old men) Serves food but is a bit hit and miss in that area, Great Landlord landlady & Staff Welcoming and pleasent give it a try Cheers!!
