| Quality pub with excellent hosts and beer. Warmly atmosphere inside with a good set of regulars. This is the sort of pub that has fallen by the wayside over the years - traditional local boozer - but this one survives on the strength of its excellent real ale....worth a visit for that alone. | Basic, old fashioned local. No food except on darts and quiz nights. Full range of Hydes beers plus normally a guest from a local micro. The landlord knows how to serve a good pint. Handy for football/rugby ground and Rochdale cricket,squash & lacrosse club. dalefan - 11 Aug 2008 14:31 |
