| I have been disillusioned by this pub, at first glances it is a friendly place where some of the bar staff are warm and welcoming and have an ounce of common sense then…then…you meet the manager a rude and arrogant man who seems to think that as he is a manager of a pub (not somewhere classy) that he is above everyone else. Their staff never seem to last long whether this is because of the manager, the disgusting toilets or purely the fact that they were fired for not knowing what a pint glass looks like I no not…I warn any bar staff looking for work unless you can fly on a magic carpet or broomstick or even live seconds away from the pub then don’t expect even a chance or a job application form from the manager…because and this is a direct quote “I will not employ people who need to travel home because it will get to 11 o’clock and people will be checking their watch” what I decent manager! undercover_lou - 6 May 2007 09:35 |
| This pub was absolutely appalling. it took an hour for our food to arrive, and it arrived in dribs and drabs, so we couldnt eat together. when it did arrive it was cold. one of my friends' meal was forgotton about entirely. the manager couldn't care less about our experience and had a disgusting attitude to customer service. i would never ever go there again, and would recommend that unless you like going somewhere where your custom is unappreciated then this is not the pub for you. natalie629 - 7 Mar 2007 10:33 |
