| No not of Tim Martin's best creations. Usual cheap food and ale but choice of the decent ones (not the standard beers I can get virtually anywhere) was limited and was becoming more limited by the minute with beers running out and not being replaced. Steamer1 - 17 Aug 2012 18:05 |
| A beer barn even by weatherspoon standards (used to be the meat market many years ago) , not bad during the day but suffers from it's popularity and the bar staff can be overwhelmed. Usual selection of ale and lager, the ale is served too cold for some tastes but generally OK. Hanley can be a unpleasant place in the evenings so you need to be aware of your surroundings and people in this as most town centre pubs. beershot - 30 Dec 2010 16:25 |
