A beer barn even by weatherspoon standards (used to be the meat market many years ago) , not bad during the day but suffers from it's popularity and the bar staff can be overwhelmed.

Usual selection of ale and lager, the ale is served too cold for some tastes but generally OK.

Hanley can be a unpleasant place in the evenings so you need to be aware of your surroundings and people in this as most town centre pubs.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS. RED ALERT!

Decent enough during the day but can get more than a little rowdy at night.

I think the previous 2 comments should be sued under the trade description action. Never hear drum and bass being played, they even have live main stream local bands in there now. I noticed recently they were in the sentinal launching a government run scheme called "knockback" where they were selected because of their good reputation and strick ID policy. Considering the size of the place and capacity i have never seen trouble when they have door staff. Job well done by all
