| not the place to go if your in a hurry...service is a nightmare (you seem to be invisible) but this is mainly caused by the coffee brigade (i'd BAR EM)..... Very clean though and beer average! 1steevo - 1 May 2008 12:33 |
| A great little spoons in the very attractive old town part of Stevenage. Will be better once it is fully non smoking, but it does have a nice large outside seating area. 9/10 Highly Reccommended! fat_beer_badger - 26 Aug 2006 14:46 |
| A pint of Abbot and a Jim Beam and coke cost me £2.99 last night. For this reason alone it is hard to be critical. Gets a little too busy for my liking but as these prices it's not surprising. The range of beers and spirits listed on offer are comprehensive; unfortunately too often I find they have run out of the one I want to try. anonymous - 20 Jan 2006 17:08 |
| I find this one more crowded than the one in the Plaza. Getting to the bar and served is a nightmare. When you do get served you turn around and are lucky to have any drink left by the time you get to where you are if it hasn;'t been knocked out ur hand. Still cheap and real beers though. | Typical Wetherspoon pub. A choice of 10 ales, but ony 5 of them on and the 3 I had were cloudy. However, it's an ok place, a little to busy for my liking at a weekend but good for a cheap spot of lunch and a pint. sreynolds - 6 Dec 2004 15:46 |
